Back to School Blessing

It’s time for a Back-to-School Blessing! If you are a student, parent, or educator you will be included in our Back-to-School Blessing on Sunday, August 25 in worship. If you have a backpack or school bag, please bring it with you! We will use it in our time of blessing. If you’re preparing for the start of another school year, we hope you can join us.

In the meantime, here’s a written blessing to ponder as summer wanes:

May these final weeks of summer be filled with joy, rest, and reflection. For students, may you savor these moments, storing up sunshine and laughter to brighten the days ahead. For educators, as you prepare your classrooms and hearts, may you find renewed passion and purpose. Let your dedication be a beacon, guiding young minds to new horizons. To all, may you approach the coming year with curiosity, courage, and compassion. May you find strength in new challenges and wisdom in every lesson. Let anticipation replace apprehension and excitement overcome uncertainty. As you stand on the threshold of possibility, may you step forward with confidence and hope. May these last weeks of summer refresh your spirit and invigorate your mind, preparing you for the journey of growth and discovery ahead, knowing you are held and loved forever by God! Blessings on your transition from summer to school and on all the promise the new year holds.
