Community Care Fest
We invite the whole community join us for a fun festival on the church lawn, with food trucks, inflatables, art, and visits from various local organizations committed to our shared value of caring for people and the planet!
Drop in any time from 10am-1pm for the following FREE activities:
+ Bounce house & inflatable obstacle course
+ Children’s book give-away
+ “Grow to share” produce swap (Bring your excess garden produce to share with neighbors!)
+ Community art project
+ Mud kitchen play
+ Nature crafts
+ Live music
+ Chat with and learn more about 20+ organizations in Hudson & the St. Croix Valley caring for people and/or the planet
For the entire fest (10am-1pm), we will also have the following food trucks on-site:
+ FREE coffee & pastries from Joe to Go (while supplies last)
+ $5 lunches from Taqueria Los Paisanos
In addition, we’ll have the following activities at the times listed:
+ Guided tour of the labyrinth at 10:30am and 12:00pm
+ Children’s story time with Ms. Sara (children’s librarian the Hudson Area Public Library) at 11:00am
+ Blessing of pets from 12:15-1:00pm (Bring your pet, leashed or in a carrier, or a picture of your pet, if they don’t travel or do well in crowds/ with other pets, to receive a special personalized pet blessing).
We are excited to be able to celebrate our 170th anniversary in this way, highlighting all the great work of so many community partners, as for 170 years and counting, we have sought to collaborate for the good of all as God calls us to do! Come for an hour, a few minutes, or the entire event! Invite your friends!
