End of Life Planning Speaker Series

End of Life Planning Speaker Series

All are welcome to learn more about various topics related to end of life planning, which is important for adults of all ages. Come to guide your own planning, or to gain knowledge and ideas about how to encourage loved ones to engage with these important topics. Speakers and topics to include:

January 21, 10:45am-12:00pm—“Legacy Giving,” presented by the Rev. Kyle Nolan from Presbyterian Foundation

Together we’ll consider how you will tell the story of God’s grace and love—not just today, but for generations to come! From wills and bequests to life income plans, the presentation will introduce tools you can use to
craft your faith legacy. A planned gift, extending our stewardship beyond our lifetime, is within the financial means of most anyone. Every gift counts! Every dollar counts! End of life gifts are often one of the largest gifts that anyway can make to support those efforts most near and dear to their hearts. Topics to be covered:
–>Passing on your values & sharing your faith
–>Making an impact now and for years to come
–>Donor Advised Funds, Endowments, Charitable Trusts, and Retirement Accounts

January 28, 10:45-11:30am—“Memorial Service Planning & Communicating Last Wishes,” presented by Pastor Kendra Grams

February 11, 10:45-11:30am—“Understanding Grief,” presented by Selena Freimark, UW-Extension Health and Well-Being Educator

February 18, 10:45-11:30am—“Home Health, Palliative Care, & Hospice Care,” presented by Adoray Home Health & Hospice

We’ll gather in the sanctuary and on Zoom (same Zoom link as worship) to include as many people as possible in this important opportunity to learn and grow in faith.
