Storytime at the Garden-in collaboration with the Hudson Area Public Library 2025

For a few summers now, we have invited Miss Sara, the children’s librarian at Hudson Area Public Library, to bring her young children’s story time to our “Give-It-Away garden” which provides fresh veggies for neighbors at the Hudson Food Cupboard. Miss Sara leads children and their grown-ups in garden-themed stories, songs and activities. New this year will be including the Mud Kitchen in play time after stories. Volunteers from our church assist with hospitality, lead a garden tour, and host a craft. This event is designed for young children and their grown-ups. If you are a grandparent with young children, it might be fun to plan and join us! If you wish to volunteer, please reach out to Pastor Lora.

We’ll gather Wednesday, July 30, 2025, 9:30am, at the Give It Away Garden, 1901 Vine Street, Hudson. In case of bad weather, be sure to check our website or Facebook page for up to date program information.

The “Give It Away Garden” is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church. No religious instruction will be part of this event however, as we honor the commitment of the library to be a place for all to grow and learn regardless of religious beliefs.
