Fall Families event – Fellowship Hall

For the second year, we are going to hold a Fall Event for Families! Families come in a lot of shapes and sizes. Some of us have lots of family really close; some of us have family all over the country and world. Some of us think of our church as family. So, similar to last year, we will gather to be as a family for a few hours on the afternoon of Sunday, November 10th: from 3-5pm in the Fellowship Hall. To be clear, one or two of the activities will be very geared toward our young disciples though people of all ages are welcome to participate in all the activities.
We will have a service project. This year, Pastor Lora has been in touch with a few people who do campus ministry or have links to area university students. Heading into Finals season and the holidays can be particularly tough on students. So we will bake them treats! And Pastor Lora will distribute them when they are packaged and ready to go.
We will have a story time led by our own Gay Ward. Bring the whole family! Invite a friend who feels like family!
There will be crafts, games, and snacks together.
